About Me

Hi, I'm Serena, the owner of Serena Dang Tailoring & Alterations.

Sewing has been a passion of mine for years and I'm grateful to have turned it into a career helping people feel confident in the things they wear and love. With over five years of professional experience in garment construction and alterations, I specialize in tailoring men's and women's clothing. From Everyday wardrobe pieces to suits, formal wear, bridal gowns, and heirloom garments. I also provide alterations for home textiles, including curtain and drapery hemming, helping clients achieve a polished, custom look throughout their homes.

For the past three years, I've worked alongside some of the industry's most skilled tailors at Nordstrom, where I've refined my craftmanship while learning to deliver expectional quality with precision and efficiency.

One of my proudest accomplishments is designing and creading my own wedding gown and veil entirely from scratch. From sketching the design to teaching myself pattern-making, selecting fabrics, hand-heading, and engineering to gown's structure, the project challenged me to master advanced couture techniques. The finished gown weighed nearly twenty pounds and was custom-fitted to perfection, making it one of the most rewarding projects I've ever completed.
